How Do I Rent an Exotic Vehicle?
The typical process for renting an exotic vehicle includes providing a security deposit, presenting a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, and signing a rental agreement. What exotic car models are available to rent?
We offer an extensive range of exotic car models available for rent, including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Rolls-Royces, Porsches, Maseratis, and executive cars like the Escalade. Our fleet is regularly updated on a monthly basis, ensuring that we always have the latest and most in-demand luxury brands available for our clients. How long does it take to get my car delivered?
To ensure timely deliveries, we recommend that our clients allow us a 1.5-hour window for delivery. This allows for any unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic or unexpected delays, and helps us ensure that your rental is delivered on time.
What are Your Rental Delivery/Pickup Options?
What are Your Rental Delivery/Pickup Options? Our 24/7 rental service offers delivery within a 20-mile radius of Miami International Airport (MIA) for $100. Additional surcharges may apply for locations further than 20 miles. Please inquire about delivery options and surcharges based on your location and distance.
Exotic Rental Restrictions: Where Can I Go?
Luxe Autos Miami prohibits renters from leaving the state of Florida or traveling beyond 100 miles from our office, unless given consent by management. Additionally, the following scenarios are strictly prohibited:
- Using the vehicle for any illegal purpose or activity.
- Exceeding any posted speed limits.
- Using the vehicle on a racetrack or road course.
- Allowing anyone who is unlicensed or whose driver’s license has been suspended or restricted from carrying persons or property for hire to drive the vehicle.
- Pushing or towing anything with the vehicle.
- Teaching anyone to drive with the vehicle.
- Driving on any unpaved surface.
Please be advised that violating these restrictions may result in the cancellation of your rental agreement and/or additional charges.
Exotic Car Rental Mileage Packages?
We offer discounted mileage packages that you can prepay before the start of your rental. For Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Rolls Royce vehicles, the prepay rate is $3.00 per mile, while all other vehicles are $2.00 per mile. Please inquire about mileage options when booking your rental.
Exotic Car Rental Mileage Limit
All of our exotic rentals come with a 100-mile daily limit. If you exceed this limit, you will be charged a fee per mile, which varies depending on the vehicle. You can also ask us about our prepaid mileage packages for additional savings. Contact us to learn more about our mileage policies and options.
Can I Return My Car Early?
We charge the full rental amount in advance or on the day of the rental. Once you reserve a vehicle, we cannot rent it out to other customers during your rental period. If you choose to return the vehicle early, we cannot issue a refund for the unused days. However, we may provide you with a credit for future rentals equal to the number of unused days remaining in your rental period. Please note that credits are non-transferable and valid for up to one year from the original rental date.
Do You Accept an International Driver License?
Yes, we do accept international driver’s licenses for our exotic car rentals. However, we may require renters to have a valid passport and travel itinerary, as well as meet our standard age and insurance requirements. Are You Really Open 24 Hours?
Yes, Luxe Autos Miami is open 24 hours at our showroom and offer deliveries and pickups at your convenience. However, if you plan on stopping by, we recommend giving us a call beforehand to ensure that we can provide you with the best possible service. Accepted Forms of Payment
We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, and American Express for rental payments. Please note that checks and cash cannot be used for rental deposits, which must be made with a credit card. Contact us to learn more about our payment options and policies.
Do You Require a Security Deposit?
Yes, we require a security deposit for all rentals. The deposit amount varies depending on the specific vehicle and can range from $500 to $5,000. Deposit retainers will be returned after the rental period if no damages are incurred during the term of the rental. If any damages are found once the vehicle has been returned, we will provide you with an onsite evaluation and deduct the necessary amount from your deposit. Please note that deposits must be made with a credit card. We do not accept checks or cash for deposits.
Turo Rentals: Security Deposit Policies and Requirements
Please note that if you use Turo for your rental, they will only charge a partial deposit on the app. The remainder of the deposit will be due in order to reserve your vehicle. Which Insurance Do You Accept?
We only accept insurance policies that provide full coverage for the rented vehicle. This includes liability, collision, and comprehensive coverage. If you do not have full coverage, we recommend contacting your insurance carrier to inquire about upgrading your policy temporarily. We will also call to verify the maximum coverage amounts with your carrier. Please note that we do not provide full coverage insurance for our rental vehicles.
Credit Card Coverage for Exotic Car Rentals
Some credit cards that may include exotic car rental coverage are American Express Platinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, and Citi Prestige. However, coverage and specific terms may vary by card and issuer. It’s recommended to contact your credit card company directly to confirm coverage for exotic car rentals. Additionally, we will also call to verify your coverage with the provider to ensure that you have the necessary coverage for your rental. What is the minimum age requirement?
To rent from us, you must be at least 25 years old and have a clean driving record without severe moving violations or DUI cases. If you have such violations on your record, your rental agreement and/or reservation may be denied. If you are under 25, please contact us for more information regarding age requirements and any possible surcharges.
Can I Cancel My Reservation?
Once a reservation is made with Luxe Autos Miami, your credit card will be authorized for a non-refundable deposit up to 40% of the total rental cost. Alternatively, you can wire or send us the reservation fee. Please note that cancellation fees may apply, except in the case of unforeseen events such as weather or natural disasters. At our discretion, we may waive the cancellation fees for these circumstances. Contact us for more information regarding our cancellation policies and fees.
Adding Additional Drivers to Your Rental
You can add up to two drivers to your rental agreement. However, please note that the same rules and regulations apply for additional drivers, including being at least 25 years old, having full coverage insurance, and a clean driving record. How do I pay for street parking in Miami?
To pay for street parking in Miami and Miami Beach, download the ParkMobile (Miami Beach) and PayByPhone (Miami) apps, register your vehicle (Check License Plate), and pay through your phone using a credit card, as there are no parking machines on the street. If you do not have a smartphone or access to the mobile app, you can park in a private lot or use a valet service. The app sends a notification when your parking session is about to expire, and you can extend it through the app if there is still availability in the parking zone.
Fuel, Tolls, Citations, Towed Vehicles, Parking Tickets, and Red Light Camera Tickets
A refueling charge of $10 per gallon will be added if the vehicle is not returned with a full tank of gas.
A flat fee of $20 per day is charged for tolls during the rental period, which is deducted from the security deposit at the end of the rental.
Each driver is responsible for any driving citations or tickets incurred during the rental period.
Parking Tickets and Red Light Camera Tickets:
The renter is fully responsible for any parking citations and red light camera tickets received during the rental period.
If the rental vehicle is towed, any charges or damages incurred will be deducted from the security deposit and/or billed to the client. Once the charges are paid and the vehicle is released, the rental may continue. Please note that if the vehicle is impounded, we will charge an additional fee of $500 for picking up the vehicle from the impound. As the renter, you are responsible for all fees associated with the impoundment and the release of the vehicle.
